The Seattle Seahawks have made significant moves to address their roster needs on the final day of the 2025 NFL Draft. The team has filled key gaps in the interior of the offensive line, added a playmaking safety, and brought in a dynamic rushing threat at quarterback.
In the first two rounds, the Seahawks selected G Grey Zabel from North Dakota State with Pick 18, S Nick Emmanwori from South Carolina with Pick 3, TE Elijah Arroyo from Miami with Pick 18, QB Jalen Milroe from Alabama with Pick 28, and added a playmaking safety in S Nick Emmanwori. The team also filled the tight end position by selecting TE Elijah Arroyo.
On Day 3, the Seahawks continued to address their needs. They selected DT Rylie Mills from Notre Dame with Pick 35, WR Tory Horton from Colorado State with Pick 30, FB Robbie Ouzts from Alabama with Pick 39, and T Bryce Cabeldue of Kansas with Pick 192. The team’s scouting report suggests that they view Cabeldue as a guard, where his competitive edge, foot quickness, and hand strength should translate well.
Cabeldue was a four-year starter at Kansas, starting 50 games for the Jayhawks. He developed his body and moved from right tackle to left tackle in 2024. The Seahawks have a strong interest in Cabeldue due to his quick pass-blocking skills, movement abilities, and heavy latch hands in the run game.
With these key picks, the Seattle Seahawks are well-positioned to address their roster needs for the upcoming season.
