Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker III Returns Against Vikings

The Seattle Seahawks are set to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday with their leading rusher, Kenneth Walker III, back in action after missing two games due to a calf injury. Walker had become a major concern for the team this week following quarterback Geno Smith’s comments that he expects to play.

Walker participated fully in practice on Friday, alongside backup Zach Charbonnet, who had missed a day of practice due to an oblique injury. Coach Mike Macdonald expressed confidence in both players, saying they looked good and were in great spirits.

Smith also returned to full participation after missing last week’s game due to a knee injury. He walked off the field during practice on Friday wearing only a sleeve on his right knee but was deemed fit enough to return to action. However, Smith hinted that he may not be 100 percent, saying “he’s getting better every day” and noting that he had done everything possible to be ready for the game.

Despite Smith’s progress, Macdonald admitted that he is unsure how much the quarterback might be limited against the Vikings.
