Seattle Seahawks outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu has been activated off injured reserve, clearing the way for his return against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Nwosu missed several games due to injuries, including a sprained MCL and a torn pectoral muscle, but he is now ready to rejoin the team’s resurgence defense. With Seattle leading the NFC West at 7-5 after three straight victories, Nwosu’s return is expected to be a significant boost. The 27-year-old linebacker averaged over 50 snaps per game in 2022 but will have to manage a full workload this time around due to the team’s deeper defensive front. Nwosu’s activation was also announced as he becomes the Seahawks’ nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, which recognizes players who give back to their communities through charitable work.
