The Seattle Seahawks season has concluded, but several former players are continuing on in the postseason with new teams. Notably, Nick Bellore, Chris Ott, and Ryan Neal will be participating in their respective games against familiar foes.
Bellore remains a key special teams player for the Washington Commanders under former Seahawks coordinator Larry Izzo. Meanwhile, Ott and Neal will face off against each other when their teams meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers also have three former Seahawks on their practice squad: Raiqwon O’Neal, Garret Greenfield, and Cody Thompson.
However, a surprise move by the Los Angeles Chargers has altered their roster for Saturday’s matchup against the Houston Texans. Originally set to face the Texans with three former Seahawks – Will Dissly, Poona Ford, and another player – the Bolts have replaced one of them after signing Ezekiel Elliott to the practice squad.
The two remaining Seahawks on the Chargers’ roster, Dissly and Ford, will look to help Jim Harbaugh’s team secure a win against their division rivals. For Shenault, his stint with the Chargers was brief, lasting only one appearance in seven offensive and 13 special teams snaps without recording any official statistics.
A list of former Seahawks whose postseason seasons have yet to end will be published by Field Gulls later this week as more games take place.
