Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Pleads Not Guilty to Sex Trafficking Charges

Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, appeared in federal court in New York City on Friday, pleading not guilty to a new indictment charging him with decades of sex trafficking crimes. The charges stem from allegations that he used his power and influence as a music mogul to intimidate and lure women into commercial sex acts.

According to the indictment, Combs subjected victims to physical abuse, threats, and coercion, including throwing objects and people, hitting, choking, and dragging others. Prosecutors argue that the video of him physically assaulting his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, is crucial evidence in the case.

Combs’ defense team has claimed that the video is misleading and was edited to speed up and alter certain actions. They also argue that prosecutors are withholding information about accusers who may testify in the case from defense lawyers until deadlines are met.

A total of 120 people have accused Combs of sexual misconduct, according to his attorney. A questionnaire for potential jurors will be distributed at the end of April, with jury questioning set to begin on May 5.
