Security Contractor Ties to Far-Right Group Raise Concerns at Gaza Aid Site

A lead contractor for a US-based company providing security at the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’s aid distribution sites is a member of a far-right motorcycle club that opposes Islamist groups.

Johnny “Taz” Mulford, of UG Solutions, is a veteran who served in the Marine Corps and Army before joining the Infidels, a biker group for veterans and private military contractors. His membership in the group has raised questions about his role at the Gaza aid site, where he has been working alongside contractors from other US-based companies.

Mulford’s ties to the Infidels have sparked concerns due to the group’s opposition to Islamism and its use of Crusader-inspired iconography, which has been linked to white supremacist ideologies. His social media posts and tattoos featuring symbols associated with Christian Zionism and anti-Muslim sentiment have also raised eyebrows among critics.

Critics argue that Mulford’s involvement in the Gaza aid mission raises serious questions about the neutrality and impartiality of US contractors working in conflict zones. The International Rescue Committee has accused Israel of starving Gaza, citing the country’s restrictions on food imports and aid distributions as the primary cause of the hunger crisis, not a shortage of food.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’s partnerships with US-based companies like UG Solutions have been met with criticism from human rights groups, who argue that hiring armed contractors to work at aid distribution sites violates basic principles of neutrality.
