Pop star and actress Selena Gomez has revealed she is engaged to record producer and songwriter Benny Blanco. The news was shared on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of the diamond ring and a picnic setup. Fellow celebrities including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, and Gwyneth Paltrow congratulated the couple on their engagement.
Gomez, 32, collaborated with Blanco on several songs, including her hit “Single Soon” in 2023. The pair’s relationship was made public about a year ago. Gomez recently earned Golden Globe nominations for her performances in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” and Netflix’s “Emilia Pérez.”
Blanco has co-written chart-toppers for top artists such as Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Britney Spears. Gomez is also the owner of the cosmetics brand Rare Beauty, valued at $1.3 billion, making her one of the youngest self-made billionaires in the US.
