Selena Gomez is teaming up with Oreo to create a limited-edition sandwich cookie inspired by her childhood. The Rare Beauty founder, 32, worked closely with her fiancé Benny Blanco to develop the unique flavor, which features cinnamon, chocolate, and sweetened condensed milk cream layers.
Gomez wanted to create a product that would “sing” in terms of its flavors, and she chose Oreo as her partner due to their iconic status. The cookies are not only a tasty treat but also help support Gomez’s Rare Impact Fund, an organization she founded in 2020 to connect young people with mental health resources.
The limited-edition cookies will feature six embossments related to Gomez, including the phrase “Selenators,” and come packaged with a special message. A portion of the proceeds from Oreo sales will go towards supporting Gomez’s fund.
Fans can pre-order the cookies online starting June 2, with in-store availability on June 9. The new flavors are set to bring a taste of nostalgia to those who grew up with the beloved snack brand.
