Pennsylvania Democrat Sen. John Fetterman took photos with “dozens” of people at a Starbucks on Monday, including one who was involved in the January 6, 2021 US Capitol riot. The individual, Adam Johnson, also known as “The Lectern Guy,” had been granted permission to attend Trump’s inauguration and posed for photos with Fetterman wearing his signature sweatshirt and shorts ensemble. According to Fetterman’s office, the senator had no knowledge of who Johnson was before taking the photo. Fetterman has been more open to working with Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, than some in his party.
