A recent funding round by San Francisco-based firm Anthropic has cemented its position as one of the world’s most valuable startups. The $3.5 billion investment, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, values the company at $61.5 billion. As a result, each of Anthropic’s seven co-founders is now estimated to have a net worth exceeding $1.2 billion, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.
