Shangela Accused of Civil Sex Assault Lawsuit by Another Victim

Celebrity drag performer Shangela, whose real name is Chantaize Darius Jeremy Pierce, has been accused of civil sex assault by another victim. Eric Poff, a production assistant on the set of Hurricane Bianca: From Russia With Hate in New York City, alleges that he was spiked with a drug at a bar in Manhattan in October 2017 and later suffered sexual assault.

Poff’s complaint states that he consumed one or two drinks before becoming semi-conscious and being anally penetrated by an unnamed man, while Shangela watched from the corner of the room. According to his lawyer, James A. Vagnini, Poff does not know the identity of the perpetrator but seeks compensatory damages for pain and suffering.

This is the latest in a series of allegations against Shangela, with at least five people publicly accusing her of sexual assault. The allegations have similarities to previous cases, including one where Pierce allegedly met a victim while filming Hurricane Bianca.

Shangela has denied all allegations, saying that they are “false and unsupported by any evidence.” However, Poff’s story has sparked renewed attention to the issue of sex assault in the LGBTQ community, with many survivors coming forward to share their experiences.
