A recall has been issued for the Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers due to a safety hazard. The pressure-cooking lid can be opened during use, causing hot contents to escape and posing a risk of burn injuries.
SharkNinja toll-free at 888-370-1733 or email [email protected] for a free replacement lid. Consumers should stop using the product’s pressure-cooking function immediately and continue to use its air frying and other functions.
According to reports, there have been 106 burn injuries, including 50 reports of second- or third-degree burns, with 26 lawsuits filed. SharkNinja has agreed to provide a free replacement lid for affected consumers.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is investigating this recall and has warned companies against selling products subject to a CPSC ordered recall. Consumers can report hazardous products or product-related injuries on www.SaferProducts.gov or call the CPSC’s Hotline at 800-638-2772.
