Sharon Osbourne Exposes Greedy Band at Ozzy’s Farewell Concert

Sharon Osbourne is taking aim at a band that tried to capitalize on her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance with Black Sabbath. In an interview with Billboard, the 72-year-old music manager revealed she disinvited the “greedy” group, citing their desire for profit as the reason.

Ozzy, who performed alongside Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward at Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England, had announced his farewell concert amidst ongoing health struggles. The 10-hour show featured iconic acts like Metallica and Guns N’ Roses, and was hosted by Jason Momoa.

Sharon Osbourne defended her decision, stating that the time wasn’t right for profit. She also hinted at revealing the band’s identity after the show, adding that fans will be “shocked.”

Ozzy had previously spoken out about his struggles with Parkinson’s disease and his recent spinal surgery. In a 2022 interview, he expressed frustration with his health issues, stating he only has 10 years left to live.

The news comes just weeks after Ozzy’s passing on July 22.
