SilverStone’s Retro Beige Case Returns with Modern Features

SilverStone has unveiled its new FLP-02 retro-style case, designed to evoke a nostalgic feel reminiscent of the 1990s when computer networks engineers like Adam Patrick Murray’s father built server rooms in homes. The FLP-02 pays homage to the era with its beige color scheme and retro-inspired design.

The new case features a standard ATX layout and supports modern components such as 360mm coolers, vertical-mounted GPUs, and USB ports. It also includes custom touches like a physical power switch, lock, and “Turbo” button with LED display. The FLP-02’s magnetic cover for USB ports and period-accurate SilverStone logo sticker add to its retro aesthetic.

While no specific release date or price has been announced, SilverStone is expected to bring the case to market soon. According to Adam Patrick Murray, the worst-case scenario is a price tag of around $220.
