A new espionage thriller series, “The Copenhagen Test”, has been released by Peacock. The show stars Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera. It follows Alexander Hale, a Chinese-American intelligence analyst who is hacked into after his brain is compromised. With his shadowy agency and unknown hackers in conflict, he must maintain 24/7 performance to find out who’s responsible and prove his allegiance.
The cast also includes Brian D’Arcy James and Kathleen Chalfont, while Thomas Brandon co-created the series with Jennifer Yale and James Wan as executive producers. The show premieres on Peacock on December 27, 2025.
