SJSU’s Nick Nash Withdraws from Hawai’i Bowl

San Jose State receiver Nick Nash will not participate in the upcoming Hawai’i Bowl on December 24. In a social media post, Nash expressed gratitude to his fans and announced that he would not play due to personal considerations.

Nash, a four-year player at SJSU, made a name for himself as a versatile athlete, playing both quarterback and receiver. This season, he set records with 104 receptions, 1,382 receiving yards, and 16 touchdown catches. Despite his impressive performance, Nash is not ranked among top NFL draft prospects.

Under first-year coach Ken Niumatalolo, the Spartans secured a 7-5 regular-season record and will face South Florida in the bowl game.
