Smallest GPS Pet Tracker Now Available for Cats & Small Dogs

Fi, the pet tech company behind the popular smart dog collar, has launched a tiny clip-on GPS tracker called the Fi Mini. Weighing just 0.56 ounces (16 grams), it’s small enough to fit on your cat or small dog. The tracker provides real-time escape alerts and live tracking through its accompanying app.

The Fi Mini is more accurate than Bluetooth trackers and can be attached to collars or harnesses up to 1 inch wide. It offers battery life of up to three weeks, USB-C charging, and an IP68 rating for dust-tight protection. The tracker uses Verizon’s LTE-M cellular network to share your pet’s location.

Similar features are available on the Fi Mini as its smart collar counterpart, including activity and sleep tracking with AI-powered behavior detection. This fall, users will receive alerts when their pets exhibit behaviors such as barking, scratching, eating, drinking, or licking. The tracker will also integrate with Apple Watch in the future.

The Fi Mini is priced at $129 per year and is available to purchase now, shipping on September 1st.
