SNES Games Added to Nintendo Switch Online, with Assassin’s Creed Nod

Nintendo has announced four new strategy games from Koei will be added to its Switch Online catalogue next Friday, March 28th. The additions include two Nobunaga’s Ambition titles and two other Koei games.

Nobunaga’s Ambition allows players to compete for control of Japan as the historical figure Oda Nobunaga or his rivals. This is similar to Ubisoft’s new Assassin’s Creed game, which features Oda Nobunaga as a key character in its Feudal Japan-set storyline.

The four new games will be available on Switch Online starting March 28th. However, one game will not return: Super Soccer, which is scheduled to be delisted from the service in Japan at least.

Nintendo has not yet commented on why Super Soccer will be removed or if this change will occur elsewhere globally. The full list of available games can be found in a previous article detailing the Nintendo Switch Online catalogue.
