SNL’s ‘Black Jeopardy’ Returns with Laughter

Saturday Night Live (SNL) celebrated its 50th anniversary in a special episode, featuring classic sketches, musical performances, and a reunion of beloved cast members. During the show, Kenan Thompson hosted “Black Jeopardy,” a popular recurring sketch where contestants try to guess names of late-night comedy shows.

In the recent version, Thompson was joined by Eddie Murphy, Tracy Morgan, and Leslie Jones, who all played fictional versions of themselves. The sketch featured several jokes, including one where Murphy’s character joked that James Earl Jones was his biological father, causing confusion among the other contestants.

The show also included appearances from past cast members Chris Rock, Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, and Tom Hanks, reprising their classic characters. SNL50: The Anniversary Special will air on NBC and Peacock on February 16th at 8 p.m. ET, featuring musical performances by Paul McCartney, Lil Wayne, and others.
