Sonos Inc. has ousted its CEO Patrick Spence after eight years at the helm following a disastrous app revamp that sparked widespread customer discontent. The company has appointed former Snap executive Tom Conrad as interim CEO, effective Monday. In a statement, Sonos acknowledged it had “let far too many people down” amid declining growth and financial results. However, the departure is unrelated to its upcoming first-quarter earnings announcement in February.
