Sony Extends PSN Outage Apologies with Extra Days for Subscribers

Sony has offered PlayStation Plus subscribers an automatic five extra days of service following a major outage on the PlayStation Network (PSN). The company confirmed that network services have fully recovered from the operational issue in a post on its Ask PlayStation support account.

The outage, which lasted around 24 hours, caused issues for users with logging into accounts, visiting the PlayStation Store, or launching games. However, some gamers were able to access their digital copies of games despite the outage.

In a statement, Sony apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the community for their patience. The company did not provide further details about the cause of the issue but has extended the service to its subscribers as a gesture of goodwill.
