Sony InZone PC Gaming Peripherals Review – Polished, but Expensive

Sony is finally entering the highly competitive PC gaming accessory market with its InZone brand. The company has launched five new peripherals, including a wireless mouse and a gaming keyboard, all developed alongside esports organization Fnatic. While these products are made for competitive play, they come with high prices that don’t always feel justified.

We got hands-on with Sony’s polished but pricey PC gaming peripherals, including the InZone H9 II gaming headset, E9 in-ear monitors, KBD-H75 keyboard, Mouse-A wireless gaming mouse, and two cloth mousepads. The H9 II headset is a successor to the 2022 model, featuring a refined finish, improved noise cancellation, and a lower weight than its predecessor.

The InZone E9 in-ear monitors are small, lightweight, and good for FPS games out of the box, but they lack punch compared to other options. The KBD-H75 keyboard has Hall effect magnetic switches that actuate faster, but it’s expensive and lacks wireless support. The Mouse-A is light and ergonomic, with optical switches that let inputs register fast.

While Sony’s products have redeeming qualities, high prices across the board make them tough to broadly recommend. The company is going up against established brands like SteelSeries, Razer, and Logitech, who often offer similar products at lower prices. However, this isn’t a bad starting point for Sony, which is finally entering the gaming accessory market.

As with any new product line, there’s room for improvement, but Sony’s InZone peripherals show promise. With further refinement and competitive pricing, these products could become serious contenders in the PC gaming accessory space.
