A highly advanced hacking toolkit called “Coruna” has been discovered by Google security researchers, capable of bypassing all defenses on an iPhone to silently install malware. The toolkit was initially linked to Russian spies targeting Ukrainians but later used in a cybercrime operation stealing cryptocurrency from Chinese-speaking victims. Researchers believe it may have originated from the US government and highlights the risk of advanced hacking tools falling into the wrong hands.
