SpaceX Crew-11 Launch Coverage Set for NASA+ and More

NASA will provide live coverage of the upcoming prelaunch and launch activities for the agency’s SpaceX Crew-11 mission to the International Space Station. The targeted liftoff is set for 12:09 p.m. EDT, Thursday, July 31, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The spacecraft will carry a crew of four astronauts: Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke from NASA, Kimiya Yui from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and Oleg Platonov from Roscosmos. The crew will embark on a science mission to the space station, which marks the 11th crew rotation mission and the 12th human spaceflight mission for NASA.

Media accreditation for in-person coverage has passed, but those who need access to NASA live video feeds can subscribe to the agency’s media resources distribution list to receive daily updates and links.

Live coverage of the launch will be available on various platforms, including NASA+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and social media. The post-launch news conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., and a welcome ceremony is set for 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 2.

The public can also attend this launch virtually through the NASA virtual guest program, which includes curated launch resources and notifications about related opportunities or changes.
