The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft is approaching the International Space Station (ISS) for a scheduled docking on Friday morning. The cargo-laden capsule, carrying over 5,000 pounds of scientific investigations and supplies, will dock autonomously to the Harmony module’s forward port.
NASA launched the Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral on August 24 at 2:45 a.m. EST, marking SpaceX’s 33rd commercial resupply services mission for NASA. The Dragon spacecraft is equipped with research that will advance future space exploration, including Artemis missions to the Moon and astronaut missions to Mars.
