The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft has undocked from the International Space Station’s Harmony module and is set to splash down off the coast of California on May 25. The spacecraft, carrying about 6,700 pounds of crew supplies, science investigations, and equipment, launched on April 21 and arrived at the space station on April 22.
After completing its mission, the Dragon will re-enter Earth’s atmosphere and land safely in the Pacific Ocean. NASA will provide updates on its space station blog but will not stream the splashdown.
The SpaceX 32nd commercial resupply services mission marks another milestone in the agency’s ongoing efforts to support scientific research and exploration.
