SpaceX is set to launch 28 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit using its Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket. The mission, scheduled for Thursday, August 14, has a launch window before the visitor complex opens. Guests with admission can view the launch from designated viewing areas, but capacity is limited on a first-come basis.
The Falcon 9 rocket will be used to place the Starlink satellites into orbit after landing successfully on a droneship. This marks another milestone in SpaceX’s efforts to provide global internet connectivity through its Starlink satellite network.
