SpaceX Lands Falcon 9 Booster After Successful Mid-Inclination Mission

SpaceX successfully launched its second mid-inclination rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Saturday morning. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 3:34 a.m. PST and carried 30 payloads, including satellites for companies like Sidus Space, Maverick Space Systems, Exolaunch, and HawkEye 360.

The booster, tail number B1071, previously supported multiple launches for the National Reconnaissance Office and NASA’s SWOT payload. After launching, it successfully landed at Landing Zone 4 about eight minutes later, marking the 22nd landing at LZ-4 and the 386th overall.

This mission comes nearly half a year after SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in April. The success of this launch marks an important milestone for SpaceX’s rideshare program, which aims to provide commercial spaceflight services for various customers.
