SpaceX Launches 23 Starlink Satellites from Florida

SpaceX launched a stack of 23 Starlink satellites on its 450th Falcon rocket, adding to the company’s growing space-based internet fleet. The launch occurred at 10:19 a.m. ET on Friday, February 21, and marked SpaceX’s 23rd launch of 2025.

The Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Starlink batch lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, with the booster returning to Earth eight minutes into flight. This successful landing was the 21st for booster B1076, which is also its twelfth Starlink mission.

The upper stage continued its flight, carrying the 23 satellites into low-Earth orbit. SpaceX’s Starlink constellation currently spans around 7,000 satellites across the globe, providing low-latency and high-speed internet to customers.

This launch was part of a busy year for SpaceX, with at least four more Starlink launches scheduled before the end of February, as well as Starship’s eighth test flight expected no earlier than February 26.
