SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on January 9, as scheduled at 7:53 p.m. The mission aims to deliver a National Reconnaissance Office payload, NROL-153, into orbit. Following the launch, SpaceX landed its first stage booster approximately eight minutes later on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean. Notably, there were no reported sonic booms in the local area.
