SpaceX Launches Starlink Mission After Stormy Night in Cape Canaveral

SpaceX successfully launched the Starlink 10-30 mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 3:57 a.m. on August 4, despite being delayed multiple times due to lightning strikes. The launch was initially scheduled for earlier in the day but was postponed as a precautionary measure.

The stormy weather was under a Phase II lightning watch, forcing all activities to be paused and personnel to take shelter until the weather passed. However, after passing through the turbulence, SpaceX managed to get the mission off the ground successfully.

This launch marks the fourth batch of Amazon Kuiper internet satellites in the Kuiper satellite constellation, which have also been launched twice on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket. The next launch is scheduled for no earlier than August 7 at 10:01 a.m. from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The mission was carried out by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, delivering the second batch of Amazon Kuiper internet satellites into space.
