SpaceX has rescheduled its Falcon 9 rocket launch to Monday, March 31, due to poor weather conditions over the weekend. The original launch window on Sunday was scrubbed after liftoff due to unfavorable forecasts.
The revised launch is now set for 3:32 p.m. EDT (1932 UTC) and carries a slightly improved chance of favorable weather, with forecasters predicting a 65% likelihood of suitable conditions.
SpaceX will be launching 28 Starlink V2 Mini satellites, the largest batch of this type to fly on one mission. The launch marks the rocket’s 17th mission and is also expected to showcase its capabilities with upgraded avionics, propulsion, and power systems.
The Falcon 9 first stage booster, B1080, will make its 113th landing attempt on a droneship called ‘Just Read the Instructions’ after liftoff. A successful landing would mark the 424th booster landing to date.
