SpaceX Targets Vandenberg Launch for Dec. 21 Morning

SpaceX is set to launch the Bandwagon-2 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base in early Saturday morning. The scheduled liftoff time is 3:34 a.m. on December 21. Following stage separation, the rocket’s first stage booster will attempt to land back at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Due to its landing process, some residents of nearby counties may hear sonic booms, depending on weather conditions.

The Falcon 9 rocket carries 30 payloads from various companies, including KOREA ADD, Exolaunch, and Sidus Space. In case of any issues, SpaceX has a backup launch opportunity planned for Sunday at 3:12 a.m.

Viewers can watch the live webcast about 15 minutes prior to liftoff on the SpaceX website or through their X account/X TV app.
