SpaceX Unveils Triple Launch Plan for Cape Canaveral

SpaceX has announced three consecutive rocket launch windows set to take place over Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from the Space Coast in Florida. The launches will mark significant milestones as they aim to reach the 77th, 78th, and 79th orbital rocket launches of the year.

The first launch is scheduled for Sunday at 4:28-8:59 p.m., targeting the deployment of internet-beaming satellites into low-Earth orbit as part of the Starlink 6-69 mission. The Falcon 9 rocket will land on a SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean after ascending along a southeasterly path.

On Monday, at 12:07-4:37 p.m., a second launch window is set to occur, launching the Koreasat 6A telecommunications satellite from Kennedy Space Center. The Thales Alenia Space joint venture will be responsible for the satellite’s design, construction, and testing.

The third and final launch is scheduled for Tuesday morning between 6:26-10:57 a.m., targeting the Starlink 6-68 mission. This Falcon 9 rocket will also take off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Space Florida President and CEO Rob Long expressed optimism about reaching the 100-launch mark this year, although he noted that it would be challenging to achieve this feat within the given timeframe.
