Spain’s former football federation boss Luis Rubiales has been fined €10,800 (£8,942) after being found guilty of kissing a female player, Jenni Hermoso, without her consent during the 2023 World Cup. Rubiales had claimed the kiss was consensual, but Hermoso testified that she did not give her consent. The High Court ruling also banned Rubiales from approaching Hermoso for a year and prohibits him from communicating with her for one year.
