“Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” Swings into Theaters in 2027

Sony’s animated web-slinging trilogy is set to conclude with a massive finale, “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,” scheduled for release on June 4, 2027. The film’s creators, producer Phil Lord and co-directors Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, took to CinemaCon to reveal the first look at the epic conclusion, promising it will be a massive finale to the trilogy.

The film marks the end of Miles Morales’ journey, which began with “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” in 2018 and continued with “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” in 2023. The latest installment promises to showcase the franchise’s bold and stylized animation. Lord teased that the story involves Miles facing an existential crisis as a fugitive on the run from every other spider in the multiverse.

Gwen Stacy and other Spidey friends will also make appearances, with Lord hinting that their help may not be enough to save Miles’ family, which has been at the center of the series. The film is expected to gross big on large format screens, with the creators preparing it specifically for massive screens, calling it “insane.”
