Nintendo has announced two significant updates for its popular gaming franchise, Splatoon. The first update is version 10.0.0 for Splatoon 3, which will bring new features such as 30 additional weapon kits, an Urchin Underpass, and improved stat tracking options. Additionally, the “weapon freshness limit” will be increased.
The company has also confirmed that a new game titled Splatoon Raiders will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. In this spin-off, players will take on the role of a mechanic, exploring the mysterious Spirhalite Islands with the Deep Cut trio. The game promises to offer an immersive experience, but details are scarce at present.
Furthermore, Nintendo has stated that a software update will be available for Switch 2 consoles on June 12th, which will enhance visuals and frame rates. The update ensures seamless compatibility between Switch 2 and original Switch consoles.
