Stabbing Attack in Tel Aviv Leaves Four Injured

A stabbing attack in Tel Aviv on Tuesday left four people injured, including one with a serious neck wound. The assailant, identified as a 28-year-old foreign national with Moroccan and American residency, was shot at the scene and is now dead. This is the second stabbing in Tel Aviv in four days.

The attacker entered Israel on January 18 under a tourist visa but faced opposition from border authorities. Despite this, he was granted entry by Shin Bet security services, which claimed it had conducted thorough security checks before allowing him to enter.

Israeli officials are calling for an investigation into how the attacker gained entry and why he was not denied upon arrival. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about security vetting in Israel.
