Stanford University Names New General Manager for Football Program

As the new General Manager of Stanford Football, I aim to build a winning era for our program. With a strong vision and leadership expertise, I’m committed to upholding Stanford’s academic excellence and athletic standards.

During my tenure, I’ve assessed the program and identified areas needing change. Recent investigations into Coach Taylor have also been on my radar. After consulting with university leaders, I conclude that a reset is necessary for our program’s success.

Effective immediately, Coach Taylor will no longer lead our football program. A search for a new head coach has begun, and an acting coach may be named for the 2025 season. My focus remains on supporting student-athletes and providing them with an exceptional experience.

I appreciate Coach Taylor’s contributions to our team and wish him well in his future endeavors. As Stanford University’s General Manager, I’m excited to support our players as they compete at the highest level and develop into outstanding young adults. Our vision for the future emphasizes a positive, winning culture that includes inclusivity and excellence. I’m confident that we’ll restore Stanford football to its top echelon.
