Starbucks is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a new lineup of drinks, including the Blackberry Sage Refresher, its lemonade-based counterpart, and an updated “pink drink” called the Midnight Drink. The limited-run Blackberry Sage Refresher joins existing seasonal drinks like the Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Crème Frappuccino and Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew.
According to lead beverage developer Billy Altieri, the new Blackberry Sage Refresher captures the essence of a garden, blending subtle notes of sage with sweet blackberry flavors. The drink will be available at Starbucks coffeehouses nationwide today.
In addition to the new drinks, existing menu items are also returning this February. These include the Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Crème Frappuccino and Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew, which can be ordered year-round by customizing the Strawberry Crème Frappuccino with added java chips.
The company’s mobile ordering system makes it easy to order these seasonal drinks, even for those rushing through last-minute errands. Starbucks is also preparing another lineup of beverages and snacks set to arrive in March, offering more opportunities to indulge in festive treats.
With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, it seems like a perfect excuse to treat yourself or your loved one. Whether that means trying out the new drinks or indulging in seasonal doughnuts from Dunkin’ and Krispy Kreme, there’s something for everyone at Starbucks this February.
