Starbucks has introduced new pricing for its sauces and syrups starting Tuesday, June 24. The coffee shop now charges $0.80 for any combination of sauces or syrups, regardless of the number of pumps or flavors added to a drink.
Other add-ins like matcha powder will cost $1 per scoop, dried fruit will be $0.50, and chai concentrate will be $0.80 per serving. However, Classic syrup will remain free in any beverage.
To help customers track these changes, Starbucks is introducing a new pricing update feature in its app. As customers customize their orders, the updated prices will be shown in real time. The move aims to boost sales and streamline operations under CEO Brian Niccol’s leadership.
The company has standardized the cost of flavor modifications to simplify logic, add customer value, and ensure consistency, resulting in fewer fees for customized beverages. According to Starbucks, these changes will provide customers with a better value for their money.
