The company stated that this promotion aims to engage with its customers and bring back lapsed Starbucks Rewards members. To participate, members can apply the “Starbucks Monday coupon” in the app for mobile orders or inform the barista when ordering in-store or through the drive-thru.
However, there’s a limit of one per member, and customizations may incur extra costs. The move is seen as an opportunity to increase customer loyalty among its rewards members.
The launch comes ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, where many employees are expected to take time off, causing a significant impact on businesses across the US.
