The Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention was cancelled prematurely by the Tribal Medical Authority at Casino Del Sol after reports of ongoing medical concerns. The convention, which had been scheduled to take place, was shut down due to symptoms reported by multiple individuals in a since-deleted Facebook post.
According to the post, attendees were experiencing stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and food aversion. The event organizers also recommended wearing masks. The cancellation statement issued by the Wild Wild West Steampunk Con’s page read, “We are shutting down comments on this post as we cannot allow speculation or infighting to carry on!”
