Steelers Consider Reclaiming Wide Receiver Dion Tate Johnson

The Baltimore Ravens have released wide receiver Dion Tate Johnson after he was suspended for refusing to enter a game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Johnson, who was acquired by the Ravens from the Carolina Panthers ahead of the NFL trade deadline, had an eventful year that included playing in a playoff game with the Steelers and being traded multiple times.

Despite being without a team now, there is strong support among fans for the Steelers to bring back Johnson. With him as the No. 2 receiver on the perimeter, he would instantly boost their offense. Although they’d need to get him up to speed quickly before the playoffs, it makes sense for Pittsburgh to claim him on waivers.

According to a recent poll, 68% of fans believe the Steelers should make a waiver wire claim on Johnson, while only 3% oppose the idea.
