Steelers Fans Turn Up Nose on Aaron Rodgers Again

Aaron Rodgers finally explained why he delayed his decision to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, revealing a personal issue involving someone close to him. Despite the revelation, the perception of him not wanting to be a Steeler still lingered with fans.

Two Twitter polls were conducted among Steelers fans, both asking if they want Rodgers to join the team. The first poll had 55.9% saying no, while the second, posted after he settled scores and aired grievances, saw a significant increase in “no” responses to 70.3%. This suggests that fans are becoming increasingly skeptical of his willingness to play for the Steelers.

Rodgers has a history of wanting to run the team and has clashed with coaches over flexibility. The Steelers’ organization may struggle to control him, and some fans would rather suffer through a losing season with Mason Rudolph than deal with an aging quarterback like Rodgers. As a result, the Steelers should listen to their fans and consider their stance on Rodgers.

The organization should conduct its own polling or focus groups to gauge fan sentiment and make informed decisions about whether Rodgers will wear black and gold in 2025 or ever.
