Steelers Roster Moves Reach 53-Man Cut

The Pittsburgh Steelers have finalized their 53-man roster after making additional moves ahead of the 4 p.m. deadline. The team waived six players, including DeMarvin Leal, Eku Leota, Beanie Bishop Jr., Sebastian Castro, Dylan Cook, and Ke’Shawn Williams. Two others were waived/injured: Domenique Davis and Brandon Johnson.

In addition to the waiver moves, the Steelers also terminated five vested veterans, including Chuck Clark, James Pierre, Max Scharping, Trey Sermon, and Robert Woods. One player was placed on the Reserve/Injured List (Designated for Return): Cory Trice Jr.

The team’s roster has undergone several changes this season, with initial moves made on Aug. 22. The Steelers waived multiple players at that time, including Kenny Willekes, Kam Alexander, Quindell Johnson, Kyler McMichael, Mikey Victor, Logan Woodside, Evan Hull, and Kevin Foelsch.
