My husband’s stepfather recently beat cancer, which is great news. However, now that he’s in remission, my mom has become very submissive towards him again. He hasn’t let anyone else make decisions or speak up since his treatment ended two years ago. I’m worried this might be a sign of something deeper and I don’t know how to approach the situation.
