Despite this, he agreed with Trump that the show was almost entirely in Spanish, which might confuse non-Spanish speakers.
However, Smith found the performance “a damn good show” and praised the vibe. He also acknowledged some concerns about the lack of English lyrics, saying it would have been nice to see more English songs. Nevertheless, he still thought it was a good show overall.
The show received over 135 million viewers, making it possibly the most-watched halftime performance ever. Despite this, Trump criticized the show on his Truth Social post, calling it one of the worst performances ever and saying it doesn’t represent America’s values.
