Stock futures rose ahead of Tuesday’s open, driven by gains from Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) and losses in Nvidia. DJT surged more than 21% as the stock closed at its highest level since October 29. Nvidia, however, fell 2%, breaking below a key level.
Other stocks making headlines include Palantir Technologies, which dropped 3.4%, and Apple, which declined 1%. KB Home jumped nearly 8% in extended trading after reporting better-than-expected Q4 results. The Labor Department’s producer price index is set to be released on Tuesday, with expectations of a 0.3% rise.
Tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.4%, while the S&P 500 gained 0.3%. Dow Jones Industrial Average stocks rallied on Monday, with the S&P 500 rising 0.2% and the Nasdaq dropping 0.4%. Oil prices extended their recent gains, as West Texas Intermediate futures settled around $78.70 a barrel.
