A Russian woman, Svetlana Dali, 57, has been arrested again after stowing away on a flight from New York City to Paris last month. Authorities say she evaded security at John F. Kennedy International Airport and flew to Paris as a stowaway on November 26. French law enforcement met her at the gate and detained her when the plane landed.
Dali, a legal U.S. resident, was arraigned in Brooklyn on December 5 on a charge of being a stowaway. She was released with electronic monitoring and other conditions after a bail hearing.
Her second arrest occurred on Monday in Buffalo, where authorities have not released details about the incident. Dali’s attorney has not commented on the new arrest.
